Innotope is a startup and a spin-off company of the University of Innsbruck. Founded in 2020 innotope provides stable isotope labelled RNA phosphoramidites and triphosphates mainly for academic research and has recently expanded the product portfolio by heavy modified nucleotide and nucleoside standards for mass spectrometric applications.
Innotope as a university spin off company understands itself as a strong partner for academic research but also for industrial research and development units and is a reliable and flexible partner to support them in their projects.
During his Master and PhD studies Felix got intensively in contact with (oligo)nucleotide chemistry. During the last seven years he developed highly efficient and robust synthetic methods to produce high purity RNA and DNA phosphoramidites and triphosphates for chemical and enzymatic nucleic acid production. As an organic synthesis enthusiast, Felix continuously develops novel synthetic routes and supports the innotope synthesis team in the laboratory and expands our product portfolio.
Christoph holds an Associate Professor position at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University of Innsbruck. In the last ten years his main research focus was the chemo-enzymatic stable isotope labelling of nucleic acids for NMR spectroscopic and recently for mass spectrometric applications. His research work was published in renowned peer reviewed journals (e.g. Nature Structural and Molecular Biology or Journal of the American Chemical Society).
Michael obtained his PhD degree in the field of nucleic acid structural biology in 2019 and then joined Roche Diagnostics. Within Roche he worked in different positions and further sharpened his economic and chemical skills. He also holds a Bachlor degree in ‘Economy & Management’ from the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI).
